Privately owned and cash positive, Mainland Civil is committed to maintaining its leading position within the marketplace.Role DescriptionDue to a significant growth of project wins, this is a full-time role for a Jnr HSE Officer at Mainland Civil QLD.
Reporting to the HESQ Manager, duties will include conducting project site audits for compliance, document management, document control, compliance tracking, administrative support, and record keeping.Some Key Responsibilities Of This Role Will IncludeParticipate in office and site HSE meetings as required.Assist in incidents and accidents investigation reporting and close out.Actively participate in safety training.Prepare and distribute HSE Reports within set deadlines.Prepare Toolbox and safety bulletins.Assist and conduct day-to-day WHS administration activities in our Safety Management System HammerTech.Assist Project teams in Inductions and onboarding.Maintain up-to-date records on safety certifications and compliance documents.About YouPrior experience in a similar role or project admin (Essential).A Certificate IV in Safety Qualifications highly regarded (Desirable).Experience with Hammertech, or similar Safety Software is highly regarded but not essential.Passion for Work Health and Safety.Display a positive approach to safety.Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication capability.Have a foundational understanding of WHS policies and safe work practices.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesConstruction
