JMS now has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Business Development Officer based out of our Rockhampton Office to join our team to support the ongoing growth and expansion of business. specificallyin the labour hire & mining market.
About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for building long term professional relationships with clients to deliver, design and coordinate leads, fostering growth and solidifying key relationships.
Responsibilities:
Build and establish a portfolio of new clients and further development of relationships with existing clients; Identify new business leads; Engage face to face with clients and managers to build relationships and understand their business needs and operational requirements; Engagement with business development team and support business growth; Understand market and labour pool trends and take advantage of opportunities for growth and expansion; Maintain an understanding of market changes, trend and competitive activity; Develop and maintain a positive working relationship and deliver an outstanding customer experience Required Skills & Experience:
Current Coal Board Medical Current Standard 11 Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the coal mining industry General Understanding of CHPP operations and requirements Proven experience in a similar role - Sales and Business Development Proven experience in acquiring and maintaining clients Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels A passion for peopleand sales driven A competitive spirit and strong work ethic A demonstratedtrack record in sales or customer service Proven ability to meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly KPI's Valid driver's licence Ability to travel throughout Queensland Minimum 5years experience in a similar role (highly advantageous) Full-time position Salary and commission Company vehicle provided How to apply:
