JLL Value and Risk Advisory is seeking to fill an Assistant Valuer position for 2025.

What this job involves:
The Assistant Valuer will provide support, analytical and technical assistance to an Associate Director and the broader National Alternatives Valuation team.
You will work alongside an Associate Director with the opportunity to inspect, prepare reports and investigate/analyse the market. You will gain a thorough understanding of Alternative asset classes including private hospitals, medical centres, retirement villages, build to rent, student accommodation, specialist disability accommodation and life sciences.
You will be given extensive training in the use of the most advanced financial and sensitivity programs (Estate Master Cash Flow and Investment Models) to be utilised in valuation reports.
You will be encouraged to attend appropriate client functions and seminars as well as our specialised preparation and mentoring to assist with Accreditation as a Valuer.
A snapshot of the role: Providing timely, accurate valuations under supervision to support the pitching and delivery of client transactions. Undertaking financial and sensitivity analysis to support business winning teams. Undertaking data verification and audit. Compiling and verifying market evidence for reports. Preparing, editing and modifying computer cashflow models. Providing direct assistance as required to enable Valuations team to effectively undertake its functions. Working closely with Sales and Leasing Services team to ensure maintenance and alignment of technical competency. Attending client functions and seminars. Sound like you? To apply you need to be:
You will need to have completed or be in the third year of your property-related tertiary studies and be looking to become a fully qualified valuer at the completion of your tertiary studies and be eligible to be registered as a Certified Practising Valuer. Strong written, verbal communication and analytical skills are sought after, as is a willingness to learn and have an enquiring mind. Attention to detail, team-oriented and a flexible attitude will ensure your success in the role.
