Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Graduate Electrical Engineer will be a part of the engineering team at JLE to a junior level. Day-to-day works will include preparing engineering drafting packages, reviewing, and staying up to date with relevant standards, approving design for IFC construction & working on R&D projects as assigned.
Overview of the Role:
Complete the engineering & design for Research & Development projects Complete the engineering & design for assigned projects Complete design philosophy & Safety in Design Risk Assessments for assigned projects Assist in the management of Outsourced engineering studies Provide design packages to the drafting team Review and sign off on designs prior to IFC construction Complete Assets Dossier's creation and maintenance Complete/manage F.A.T Testing within the Workshop Complete Inspections of Returning Assets provide mark ups back to the drafting team Complete Onsite testing of HV equipment on JLE projects Complete reviews of testing ITCs, provide feedback & reports to the client Develop efficient systems and processes that result in high-quality products Role location can either be in Orange or Tomago NSW We are looking for someone with:
Ability to use initiative and be self-motivated Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and manage multiple, concurrent tasks, which have competing priorities. Ability to work alone or as part of a combined project team comprising but not limited to technical, planning, quality, projects, and customer personnel. Must be a competent user of Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Degree in Electrical Engineering Capacity to work independently and as a member of a work team Understanding and interpreting relevant Standards and Codes of Practice A high level of numeracy skills, attention to detail and superior analysis ability Why work with us?
