We do more than collect the bin from your street; we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert it to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet in-house, and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration, and much more.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ's HR Truck Driver, you will operate a waste collection vehicle from the Launceston depot.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. You will be working with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
You will enjoy family-friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO, or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends! Early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes.
If you've got your HR licence, we can teach you the rest!
ABOUT YOU
Current HR license Side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, tanker or front lift truck experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided) Must be able to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers Commit to JJ's Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing Able to provide your last 5 years' traffic history at interview stage Well-developed people and relationship skills BENEFITS
