ABOUT THE ROLEAs a JJ's Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, you will work on our variety of fleet vehicles in our Mildura & Robinvale depots. You can be based in either location - your work will be split between the workshops (company ute provided). You will report to the Workshop Manager and will be conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.

ABOUT YOUHave trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial VehiclesDemonstrate an exceptional eye for detailComplete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testingHave a HR and forklift licence (preferred but not essential)Have a good mechanical aptitudeDemonstrate a professional and outcome focusWork well individually and as part of a teamWant to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvementBe dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industryDemonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholdersBe dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer serviceUpgrade from a Light Vehicle Mechanic OR Applications from 3rd or 4th year HV Apprentices also encouragedBENEFITSWe celebrate our people by providing a safe and professional workplace so you can enjoy what you do every day.
