JIRA Administrator with Reporting and Automation- SYDNEY Seeking an experienced JIRA Administrator to manage, configure, and support our JIRA environment, with a focus on reporting and automation, in a large organization.
Key Responsibilities: JIRA Administration: Configure and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, and notifications. Provide daily support to users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring platform optimization. Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards in JIRA and Confluence. Generate metrics and insights to support project and resource management. Automation: Implement and manage JIRA automation rules to streamline processes. Integrate plugins or tools to enhance JIRA's automation capabilities (e.g., ScriptRunner). Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within JIRA. Conduct regular audits for a clean, organized system. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders. Provide guidance on JIRA best practices to align with team needs. Training & Documentation: Conduct training sessions for end-users. Maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator, ideally in a large organization. Strong knowledge of JIRA workflows, permissions, notifications, and administrative settings. Proficiency in JIRA reporting and dashboard creation. Experience with automation tools (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation for JIRA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile project management and Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket). Familiarity with scripting/query languages (e.g., JQL).
