Full Time JB Contracting, a privately owned civil and earthworks company, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller based at our head office in Kalgoorlie.

Your Responsibilities: Ensure all billable business activities are charged to clients in an accurate and timely fashion. Accurate and timely reporting of any exceptions or issues encountered. Ensure all client billings are accurate and in line with contracts and agreed terms. Liaising with clients to ensure any issues have been resolved in a timely fashion. Executing accounts receivable process (drafting and distributing invoices, ensuring client approves and receipts in time for scheduled payment) to ensure billings are in line with contracts. Monthly reconciliation of client billings and distribution of client statements. Preparation of analytical reporting on utilization and key business metrics. Daily review of drilling activity system to ensure all drilling records are approved on a timely basis for billings. Preparation of cashflow forecasts. Tax planning and BAS. CAP EX. Assisting group accountants and CFO with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to Senior Management and preparing board reports monthly for presentation. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will be conscientious, confident, friendly, and have 2+ years of experience in a similar role. You should possess the following skills & attributes:
Strong communication – written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast and dynamic environment. Able to work with Finance team, Operations team, and Clients in a consistent and professional manner.
