If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleJava Technical Lead - PaymentsWhat does a successful Technical Lead do at Fiserv?As the Technical Lead, you are expected to demonstrate working knowledge across a broad range of application and engineering patterns; have a very strong history of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and to be able to discuss and articulate detailed designs and code to your stakeholders.What you will do:You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the application development across the full project lifecycle from gathering functional designs and creating technical specifications and the list of development inventory and managing their development through to testing until deployment, ensuring the end product is of a high-quality standard.Functional and technical specifications, coding and testing and/or application support including a strong understanding of mobile and web app security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies for mobile and web apps.You will join Fiserv's Global Issuer organization development team to lead and build new cloud-native applications.The ideal candidate will be required to work in a cross-functional environment in defining and building end-to-end solutions.What you will need to have:Minimum of 8 years of related IT experience, designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications.Working experience of a wide range of distributed and cloud technologies with experience of their integration and configuration: e.g. Cloud workloads, Containerization, Linux, Java/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, Mobile and Application Middleware, ESB, Datapower XML/JSON, SOA and API management, distributed relational and NoSQL databases Postgres/Yugabyte along with traditional Oracle/MySQL/DB2, PhoneGap/iOS/Android SDKs, etc.Working experience with microservices, mobile and web app security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies for mobile and web apps.Working knowledge of cryptography, key management, and security solutions on both mobile and server side with understanding of security protocols and cryptography including PKI, SSL, RSA, authentication, encryption, digital signatures.Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies as well as all functional areas in an IT organization. Excellent level of analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.Demonstrated experience in both agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development.What would be great to have:Any working experience with other payment solutions including mainframe environment would be an advantage.Knowledge of emerging technologies such as rules, AI, and Machine Learning with good understanding of how technology relates to business, market, and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.Experience and comfort in mentoring junior staff.Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
