Java Software Engineer

Hybrid Opportunity in Sydney (Can be fully remote for the right candidate)* $150k package We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing automation solutions, with hands-on experience in AI technologies and AWS services. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that leverage the power of automation and AI to solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, focusing on automation solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into automation workflows. Architect scalable and secure solutions on AWS, leveraging cloud-native services. Optimize and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of Java applications. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in AI and cloud automation. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in Java development. Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions. Strong understanding of AI technologies, such as machine learning or natural language processing or Chatbot. technologies. Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). Proficient in cloud infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar). Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. *Must be based in Australia and be a Citizen or hold PR.
