Fast-growing Australian Industry 4.0 tech business is seeking a JAVA Software Engineer. This opportunity allows Software Engineers to immerse themselves in the world of Industry 4.0 and be part of a team helping industrial businesses fundamentally shift how they operate and leverage Industry 4.0
The solution helps our clients reshape the connected supply chain. Our solutions assist clients in priority areas (Defence, Mining, Agriculture, etc). Key Responsibilities:
Developing high-quality re-usable code in an Agile framework. Participating in peer code reviews and testing. Champion iterative, continuous refining approach to architecture improvements. Test and iterate your implementations. Support and maintenance of their production environments. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. Be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Experience:
Degree qualification in IT, Software Engineering with preferably 5 years of hands-on experience in JAVA technology Multithreading, Collections, Memory management. Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Web-services, Microservices jPOS, Hibernate, Kafka, Restful API/Soap, XML, Multithreading, Object-Oriented Programming Experience in building RESTful microservices. Experience in PostgreSQL or No SQL database is a Must. Experience writing unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and integration tests (RestAssured, Wiremock). Experience in automated functional testing using tools like Cucumber. Good knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Experience with software development best practices, such as unit testing, code review and CI/CD. Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements, providing consultation and technical guidance. Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver.
