In Australia, Adecco has over 50 years industry experience making us the most qualified provider and leading supplier of casual and permanent staff.ResponsibilitiesOur client, an international insurance provider based in Sydney CBD is seeking a full-time permanent Japanese Speaking Client Service and Domestic Underwriter. You will act as a strategic business partner primarily for Japanese commercial clients, local brokers, and partner insurers, with the goal of achieving sales, profitability, and growth objectives.Your key duties are following but not limited to:Build and maintain relationships with key clients and brokers, promoting the company's image, and organizing networking events to strengthen connections.Stay aligned to the needs and feedback of clients, brokers, and the broader market through regular calls and visits.Collaborate with internal teams to address challenges and maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring high service quality.Actively promote the company's products and services.Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.Continuously learn about new and existing products, their features, and benefits.Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-value customers.Review existing portfolios and provide recommendations for strategies to drive growth.Coordinate with the head office to negotiate terms and rates for local policies under global programs.Provide underwriting and claims advice.Provide clients with quotes and conduct underwriting assessments for both new and existing clients.Evaluate client risks and work with the accounting team to ensure premiums are paid on time.Assist with budget management and create various documentation for the management.Respond to inquiries from the head office and update customer-related systems.Your ProfileTo be a successful candidate you are required to have:Experience in the insurance industry preferred.Previous experience in sales, account management and/or customer service OR keen to pursue a career in sales!Must be fluent in English and Japanese language skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.Ability to work within a team and flexibility to take on various duties.A high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.Please register your interest in this role by forwarding your resume via the apply button.
