Full-time, fixed term to February 2026 Located at the picturesque Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas in tropical North Queensland Academic Level B: $106,593 - $125,774 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits. ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our state-of-the-art clinical teaching facilities in Townsville, you will contribute to the development, coordination and delivery of Nursing and Midwifery curriculum, with a particular focus on Midwifery, providing innovative learning activities and assessments that promote engaging learning activities for a diverse range of students. You will be responsible for delivering face-to-face and online lectures, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and clinical sessions, while also playing a key role in scholarship and research activities in the field of Midwifery.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Postgraduate qualification and current AHPRA registration as a Midwife Experience in teaching, learning, and curriculum development Flexible approach to both blended and online delivery Ability to address unique challenges in tropical, regional, remote, rural, and Indigenous Midwifery education Strong communication skills to engage effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities Commitment to creating inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments HOW TO APPLY AND CONTACT DETAILS
