We are seeking a Senior Associate Instrumentations and Controls Engineer to join the Sydney team. The purpose of this role is to undertake and take a leading role in the delivery of a diverse range of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls solutions to our clients. You will successfully plan, manage and deliver projects to meet client requirements, help build the section work pipeline by developing and capitalising on internal and external client relationships and provide technical inputs and leadership.

Supervise and undertake designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects. Demonstrate ongoing technical engineering competency and professional development, and contribute and lead quality assurance activities. Develop and maintain business lines with the delivery of electrical instrumentation and controls engineering services in particular, and Jacobs services more broadly. Act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, facilitating the professional development of others. Here's what you'll need Relevant Tertiary Degree and robust knowledge of relevant Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls standards and design arrangements. Able to supervise and undertake designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects. Experience in one or more of the following major infrastructure sectors of Water, Power, Renewables, Rail, and Resources sector. Experience leading teams developing EI&C designs. Experience in development of proposals for complex infrastructure clients desirable. Experience engaging both internal and external clients in order to develop a program of opportunities and future workload. Sydney Water experience or experience in the Power sector desirable. Experience in Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) desirable. Demonstrate eligibility to be a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia. Jacobs. A world where you can.
