Having established relationships with several high-profile repeat clients and a pipeline of work commencing, this company is seeking to employ a driven Site Safety Officer to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in the ACT.
About the Position
As a Site Safety Officer, you will help to advocate safe work practices. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities and develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.
Duties Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks Direct accident investigation procedures Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues Skills & Experience Proven experience as a safety coordinator or similar Experience in reporting and developing policies Excellent communication and advisory skills Diligent with an analytical mind Culture
