The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels, and within more than...As part of the Service Management Practice team, the ITSM Officer will:Coordinate and undertake a range of tasks to provide support for the implementation of service management initiatives, reporting on SLAs, and process management.Undertake specific projects, research, analysis, policy and process development, and client liaison and consultation activities.The Role:Implement and run service management processes including relevant reporting, providing advice and assistance on the development of service level agreements.As part of a team provide a range of IT support services to clients at agreed standards of service.In consultation with the Manager IT Service Management Practice, provide consultancy and documentation services for management, clients and external vendors, and facilitate the development of sound IT practices within the agency.Undertake specific projects and tasks within Health ICT required by the Manager IT Service Management Practice.Support ongoing improvement in the operations of Health ICT through business process analysis.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.The team:Partake in work across a wide variety of technical and non-technical streamsOpportunities to work on projects that benefit the Agency statewideWork in a small, motivated and cohesive teamPosition FeaturesSome regular out of hours work or on call may be required to meet specific needs or deadlinesSome interstate and intrastate travel may be requiredDetails of AppointmentPermanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicantApplicants sh ou ld note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary: $95,393 - $100,067 per annum.
