What you'll do Change & Release Management Oversight: Manage process updates, align with Woolworths Group policies, ensure processes are fit for purpose, and oversee all logged Requests for Change (RFCs) while validating risk assessment, planning, testing, and controlled releases.
Continuous Improvement & Automation: Drive process efficiency through CI/CD automation, integration in SDLC, and apply DevOps principles, including industry success metrics (e.g., DORA, Flow) and process KPI/OKRs.
Coaching & Collaboration: Consult and coach change requesters, coordinators, implementers, and project teams while maintaining alignment with tribes, squads, and cross-functional governance practices.
Strategic & Operational Leadership: Lead key forums (e.g., blameless retrospectives), manage E2E agile release management, and ensure alignment with Digital Technology's strategic goals and objectives, including human-centered process design.
Toolset & Process Enhancements: Create and manage ITSM tool enhancements (e.g., ServiceNow), perform UAT/BVT, and ensure end-to-end integration across business processes and systems, including continuous improvements to service management.
What you'll bring Expertise in Agile, DevOps, and Service Management: Extensive experience in agile and DevOps environments, including managing complex release trains, on-demand microservices, and applying ITIL 4 practices in IT change and release management.
Skills in Digital Transformation & Process Automation: Proficient in digital adoption, process design, Lean methodologies, Human-Centered Design, and automation with tools like ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM, Atlassian products, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities, with the capability to articulate messages clearly to diverse audiences, make sound decisions under pressure, and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
Holistic and Analytical Approach: Forward-looking with experience in designing reports, Service Design, Transition, and Operations, enabling better business decision-making and seamless service delivery.
Qualifications and Technical Knowledge: Certified in ITIL 4 and Agile practices, with over 8 years of experience in service management, along with advanced skills in tools like ServiceNow and working knowledge of DevOps and test automation frameworks.
