Candidates will be selected for interviews based on the following: Valid Manitoba Teacher CertificateA sound knowledge of the provincial curriculaPrevious teaching experience in a middle or early year environmentSkills and Abilities: Ability to provide a balanced literacy program across subject areas assignedExcellent organizational and multi-age classroom management skillsExcellent understanding of Differentiated Instruction and Universal Design for LearningAbility to work independently and as part of a team, building collective efficacy.Experience working with students with unique needsTeam player committed to the certainty that all students can and will learnSelf-motivated learner, building expertise based on student learning needsUnderstanding of and experience with teaching remotely and online is considered an assetUnderstanding of collaborative inquiry and deep learning is considered an assetFirst Aid, Child CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training are an asset.
