Create an impact as an Iteration Manager joining the largest insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.
YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity within our Direct Insurance Australia (DIA) Digital Experience team for an experienced Iteration Manager.
As an Iteration Manager you will be an integral member of the Digital Experience team by supporting the Product Owner and the Squad in developing a comprehensive delivery backlog and managing the work of the squad within an iteration, through effective planning and help optimise the efficiency of the team to ensure that they are delivering to the business expectations and objectives.
The Iteration Manager will work closely with the squad and stakeholders to define project requirements and milestones. This will involve managing multiple complex initiatives and work streams, ensuring teams adhere to Agile methodologies.
This role will see you being primarily responsible for enhancing Agile practices and ensuring the successful delivery of digital and technology initiatives to the business. This will involve leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Iteration Manager / Agile Delivery Lead / Scrum Master with strong interpersonal skills who is able to manage a variety of stakeholders and collaborate effectively with different streams.
This is a 12 - 24 month fixed term role based in Sydney.
ABOUT YOU Previous experience working as an Iteration Manager / Scrum Master within Agile teamsProven previous experience in delivering projects in Digital, Mobile and Web applicationsDemonstrated end-to-end delivery experience with proven ability to lead digital and technology initiatives from Discovery through to execution and releaseWell versed with Agile ways of working including Agile estimation and driving delivery in a complex multi-stakeholder environmentStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to easily develop new relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and colleagues and to influence senior leadershipSound understanding of SCRUM and KanbanExperience in coaching and influencing change to increase the flow of valuable outcomes through a squad as well as uplifting Agile capability and maturityA willingness to get involved at a detailed level when requiredApplications close on Tuesday, 18 June 2024 at 11:59pm AEST.
