Job Description Lead and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Guide team discussions, workshops, and decision-making processes, while addressing and removing any blockers that may arise.Provide ongoing support, coaching, and education to the team and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices, helping the team achieve high performance, continuous improvement, and increased Agile maturity.Foster a shared understanding of solutions across feature teams, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure all team dependencies are clearly communicated to stakeholders.Keep the team focused on key program priorities, milestones, release schedules, and the overall program roadmap.Identify opportunities for process improvement and track the impact on team burndown and velocity, providing visibility for informed decision-making.Assist in the planning, execution, and roadmap management of a portfolio of work, delivering regular program updates, including risks, issues, and escalations, on a bi-weekly basis.Manage stakeholder relationships through clear communication, effective negotiation, and proactive issue resolution, ensuring stakeholders remain engaged and project deliverables are met.The Successful Applicant Proven leadership skills in the public sector.Strong knowledge in the field of technology.Ability to manage a large team effectively.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to handle budget and resources of the department.Understanding of public sector regulations.Ability to handle conflicts and issues effectively.What's on Offer A temporary position as an Iteration Manager in a reputable public sector organisation.Competitive daily salary of AUD 900 - 1000Opportunity to work in a dynamic and engaging work environment.Chance to lead and manage a team in the technology department.Opportunity to work in the vibrant city of Sydney.We encourage all suitable candidates to apply for this exciting opportunity to lead and make a difference in the public sector.
