The ITAM Team Leader's primary purpose is to help the Operations Centre Team deliver efficient, secure, and reliable services to customers, with a focus on quality, process improvement, and supporting ITAM-related projects.
The roleLead day-to-day activities of Configuration, Hardware, and Software Asset Management processes.Track and ensure compliance with policies, escalating issues as necessary.Facilitate audits, approve changes, and review impacts to configuration management data.Engage with strategic projects to ensure CMS functionality aligns with project timelines.Manage and maintain IT asset data in repositories, ensuring accuracy and continuity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Application Owners, Service Catalogue Manager, Procurement).Monitor and report on process metrics, identifying areas for improvement.Provide quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.Contribute to team development through training, documentation, and knowledge sharing.Manage and deliver assigned projects, ensuring timely completion.What experience you'll bringExperience in high-paced environments with meticulous attention to detail.Strong background in IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools.Proven experience with CSDM implementation and maintenance.Skilled in reporting, documentation, and analysis.Organised, self-motivated, and focused on delivering value to the organisation.Strong audit defence, remediation, and negotiation skills.Ability to develop, implement, and evolve policies, processes, and procedures.Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.Customer service-oriented with a sense of urgency.Preferred:ServiceNow ITAM certification.CSDM certification.ITIL Foundation Certification.Tertiary qualifications in IT or a relevant field.Industry certifications.Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., Australian Privacy Act, APRA guidelines, PCI-DSS).LocationToowong - Close to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.
