Our client is inviting applications for a Vocational Trainer for its training operations at the Sydney campus to deliver the Advanced Diploma of IT.

About the Role: Be responsible for the contextualization, assessment and delivery of the accredited training with strong focus on the student-centered approach.

The successful candidates must have a relevant industry qualification demonstrating sound vocational competence at a level equivalent to the qualifications to be taught. Relevant Degree qualifications would be well regarded.

Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the Learning and Development Unit Deliver training course as per the institute's Training and Assessment Strategies Administer assessment and feedback using approved assessment tools and platform. Ensure adequate and appropriate communication between the institute and the learner for the period of the learner's course Where appropriate, communicate with the learner's employers to advise of progress Ability to contribute to the improvement of training resources as per the requirements of training packages as required Provide SME advice to e-Learning for the development of modules Maintaining skills and knowledge of current practice within relevant industry. Follow policies and procedures to highest compliance standards. Selection Criteria: The successful applicant will have:

Essential Qualifications and Experience in the area of General Information Technology and Telecommunications Network Engineering. TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an appropriate equivalent such as TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. At least one of the following must be among your educational qualifications: Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or Telecommunications Network Engineering, Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Telecommunications Network Engineering) or its equivalent as per Australian standards. Higher education degrees such as Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor Engineering Technology (Telecommunications), Bachelor of Networking, Bachelor of Engineering (Telecommunications), Master of Information Technology, Master of Cybersecurity, Master of Networking, Master of Telecommunications Network Engineering or higher will be considered along with candidate's appropriate experience to determine suitability. Experience in training in a classroom environment. Experience in Telecommunications Network Engineering.
