As part of the Transformation team, you will be key to delivering the Transformation Change Program (TCP) transitioning from our current technology provider to One Council.
In this role, the IT Test Lead will oversee all testing phases of the program, including system integration, process validation, data migration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring high performance standards.
You will mentor and guide testers, foster collaboration, and actively participate in test planning and execution across multiple IT products.
This position requires a proactive approach to developing and implementing testing methodologies to uphold the quality and reliability of IT systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the defect management process involving project team, business stakeholder and vendor triage, status reporting and issue escalation.Develop or assist in the development of Test Plan(s) and other testing documentation.Execute testing and support inexperienced testers with test execution.Analyse and log incidents / defects using appropriate defect management tool.Prepare and present test products and test cases for product quality review and / or assurance in accordance with the IT Project Management framework as required using templates provided.About you To be successful in this role you will have the following: Tertiary Education in either Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Scaled Agile Framework Certification.Strong knowledge of testing theory, methods, techniques and tools, and proven experience of system testing, system integration testing and UAT.Experience working with defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Test Rail.Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, Testing and QA processes.Culture and Values Our vision for our community is to be: "A vibrant, safe and liveable city accessible to all" and that means there's a place here for you too.
