Find personal and professional growth As the IT Technical Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day 2nd and 3rd line operational support services to users, including those within Information Services.
You are the escalation point for the IT Service Desk within the IT Operations team, assisting with the resolution of more complex issues and problems, as well as ensuring servers, software applications and associated network equipment are operational and up to date.
Your customer service skills are an asset, ensuring all users are kept informed while work is being performed.

Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving operational related incident and service requests escalated by the IT Service DeskLiaising with hardware, software, and communications suppliers, ensuring operational incidents and problems are rectified as quickly as possibleIdentifying and monitoring trends and potential problem sources and taking relevant actionProviding asset management services in regard to all ICT equipmentProviding infrastructure and operations management services to the organisation across various systems and programsProvide application packaging services to the organisation via endpoint management softwareProviding project management services in respect to the infrastructure section of the branch What you'll bring To thrive in this role, you will need:
Certificate IV in Computer or Information Technology and/or solid IT Industry experienceKnowledge and experience in the management and support of server, cloud, network, storage and virtualisation infrastructure in a large organisationDemonstrated experience in analysing technical issues on complex ICT systemsDemonstrated experience in the use, management and support of endpoint management solutions including application deployment and mobile device managementDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and implementing changes to achieve efficienciesWe would also love you to have:
Demonstrated understanding of the principles of IT Service Management (ITIL)Ready for your opportunity? This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $78,184 to $90,862.
