Summary: Reporting to the IT Technical Support Supervisor, the IT Technical Support Analyst position responds to support enquiries, assesses problems/issues with IT equipment and applications, along with helping to resolve issues for end users.
The right candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, have a proactive approach and be committed and eager to undertake on-the-job training as provided.
The individual will be able to establish and maintain relationships within the company's stakeholder groups and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities: Provide support for all users of the Ensign Energy network, which may include local and remote office locations as well as remote rig and FIFO field units.
Learn and master processes used by the service desk.
Support and promote Ensign I.

policies. Develop insight into user acceptance of evolving computer systems and technologies.
Work under pressure, handling a wide variety of email and telephone requests in a busy and, at times, reactive environment.
Help identify and plan small infrastructure projects relating to networking, software upgrades, and technical advancement projects.
Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
Participate in on-call rotation, business migrations integrations, office moves, and network updates or upgrades.
Participate in customer service and technical knowledge training.
Build rapport with parties, supporting with troubleshooting and identifying solutions.
Experience and Qualifications Required: Completed or undertaking formal IT TAFE/Tertiary qualification.
Minimum 1 year experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk analyst role.
Experience in a customer service position.
Knowledge in computer and networking systems – Windows 10 and 11; Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Intune, Dynamics AX, Citrix, Commvault, and AV tools.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment.
Able to work with different client types to understand their needs, identify root causes of problems, and implement creative and pragmatic solutions.
Ability to develop rapport with various client groups and maintain strong working relationships built through collaboration and respect.
Strong and clear communication to support remote operations.
Location and Travel: This position is based in Ensign Energy's Australia Head Office, located in Adelaide's Northern suburbs, Edinburgh North.
Travel may occasionally be required across Australia at both office and field locations.
