Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Systems & Network Administrator to support our team's technology needs.
In this role, you will handle general IT support, manage network infrastructure, administer platforms, and monitor security systems.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our internal systems run smoothly and securely, enabling our business to maintain its industry-leading services.
Requirements IT Support & Helpdesk Serve as the first point of contact for technical support queries (software, hardware, peripherals).
Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 & 2 support issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Maintain documentation of common fixes and best practices for end-users.
Hardware & Software Management Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations, and other IT equipment for new and existing employees.
Manage device inventory, ensure timely procurement of hardware, and enforce company security standards on all devices.
Network Administration Oversee the internal network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi), including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages or performance bottlenecks, and implement network improvements.
Ensure network security through proper configuration, patching, and documentation.
VPN / Zero Trust Administration Configure and maintain Zero Trust policies for secure access control.
Monitor and optimize network traffic flow through Cloudflare tunnels and policies.
Security Monitoring & Incident Response Monitor alerts from cybersecurity tools, including email security platforms and endpoint protection software.
Investigate and escalate security incidents; coordinate incident response with internal teams or external partners.
Enforce IT security policies, recommend improvements, and stay informed of the latest security trends.
Continuous Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system reliability, and enhance the user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on time and within scope.
Document and share best practices, acting as a resource for team members.
Qualifications & Skills Experience : 2+ years in an IT Support, System Administration, or Network Administration role.
Technical Skills : Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments.
Proficiency with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Hands-on experience with endpoint protection and email security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Abnormal).
Familiarity with Cloudflare Zero Trust or similar Zero Trust platforms (Zscaler, Perimeter 81, etc.).
(Nice-to-have) Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
Security Awareness : Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and willingness to stay current on emerging threats.
Soft Skills : Excellent communication, customer service orientation, and a team player mentality.
Certifications (Preferred) : CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Microsoft).
