We are currently looking for a friendly well-rounded IT professional to join our team on a permanent basis, working at all levels to support the studios and improve Grimshaw IT globally.
Responsibilities include: Support and maintain core IT systems infrastructure, comprising Windows servers, ESXi hypervisors, storage solutions, AWS and network infrastructure.
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patch management, system updates, firmware updates and backups.
· Engage with external vendors and managed service providers to ensure infrastructure is updated and supported.
Monitor system performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Administer AD (Domain controllers, DHCP, DNS and group policies).
Provide an escalation point for the IT Support Analysts and help resolve escalated IT Support issues.
Provide efficient and effective Level 3 support to resolve varied IT issues, across all infrastructure and end user compute for the ANZ Region.
Ability to work autonomously or collaborate on task/projects.
Ability to recommend technical infrastructure solutions to better improve Grimshaw IT.
Provide on-call support to resolve system and Infrastructure outages.
Ability to write technical documentation.
Availability to work out of hours for updates, project roll outs and general systems maintenance.
Assist with managing Okta, Mimecast, Office365, Intune, and Sophos.
You will be supported by a global IT department from the company's other studios (London, New York, and Melbourne) and work together with the regional IT Manager and IT Support Analyst in the Sydney studio.
A minimum of 5 years' experience administering Windows based environments is important to ensure you excel in this role, the ideal candidate must be a confident communicator and should hold most of the below skill set: Required Skills: · Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT Systems Administrator.
· Experience administering Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016+ · Experience Deploying, Administering and Maintaining Active Directory and Domain Functions.
· Experience managing AWS infrastructure and network connectivity (highly desired).
· Experience Managing Networks (Cisco Meraki experience highly desired).
· Experience with VMware and Veeam backup and replication.
· Strong technical skills.
· Strong problem management skills.
· Ability to support infrastructure across 3 studio locations.
· A 'can do' attitude.
