Your new role    We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Officer , with strong customer service skills to join our team.
If you have a can-do attitude and creative problem-solving skills, where you can solve a range of IT support solutions, we would love to hear from you.
Key duties and responsibilities include: Efficiently responding to all clients through telephone, email, instant message or in person.
Accurately recording all service requests and incident reports, including their resolutions in a timely manner using in service desk ITSM application suite.
Monitoring service requests and incident reports and escalating matters to the service team within DTS or elsewhere if required Utilizing support tools to conduct routine system administration tasks (e.g., installing software applications, creating email accounts, and increasing quotas) Setting up computers, printers, multifunction devices and/or audio-visual equipment and other ICT Infrastructure systems.
Delivering ICT induction for new clients and taking part in the development, maintenance, and distribution of client-focused training materials.
We are looking for someone with: Relevant qualifications and experience within IT Support Services.
Previous experience working with ServiceNow is highly desirable.
Demonstrated understanding of and previous experience in using a range of IT systems, software and equipment.
Prior experience with using remote desktop control software to undertake technical IT support tasks The ability to problem-solve, diagnose, trouble shoot and resolve IT problems experienced by end users over the telephone and/or in person Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust technical language to tailor to the audience.
Work Requirements: Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the role.
Based in Perth, WA or have confirmed plans to relocate.
Relocation and sponsorship support are not available.
Ability to be rostered to work outside of normal office hours when required Ability to travel to other campus locations (metro and regional), when required.
A level of fitness commensurate with the position (walking distances and lifting equipment may be required).
