Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy part time IT Support Officer to provide top-notch technical assistance and support to our team and clients. In this role, you will be the first call in troubleshooting and providing remote and onsite assistance of IT issues for our customers, ensuring that their systems run smoothly and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems, we want to hear from you! Please note that this is an in-office position and that work from home is not available for the first twelve months of employment with us.
Key Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve incoming IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person. Diagnose and troubleshoot network, hardware and software issues on various devices. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.Provide training and guidance to staff on IT-related tools and software. Audit and implement security recommendations from cloud servicesConduct security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities.Implement security controls and best practices for cloud-based applications.Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.Write proposals and be a solutions architect for potential customers we have met face-to-face Provide onsite and remote support to our customersDocument and track support requests in our ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improvements. Provide assistance as needed to other departments within the business to support our community education and marketing campaignsStay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practicesQualifications: Minimum Diploma of Information Technology Proven experience in IT support or a similar role would be advantageous. Experience in Microsoft 365 administration is a mustStrong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and networks. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus.
