Under the supervision of the Technology Services Manager, the IT Support Officer and Field Technician guarantees a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and responsiveness to BaptistCare Users. This is achieved through delivering timely, dependable, and efficient support services for technology and communication needs.
Duties: Provides hardware administration tasks, including:Research and evaluation of hardware optionsDisposal of hardwareConfiguration and labelling of goodsSecurity and maintaining stock levels on a monthly basisPackaging of goods for delivery to remote sitesReporting support issues and suggesting improvementsTaking ownership of support tasks and ensuring timely resolutionsEscalating support requests beyond agreed timelines or capabilitiesCollaborating with ITC service providers on technical and operational network issues, including tablets and phonesParticipating in weekly communication and regular strategy meetingsSupporting fixed and mobile technology for local and remote employeesTroubleshooting network and application problems for users as neededSkills and Experience: Essential Bachelor's degree in ITC/Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in an ITC Support role, with proficiency in Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Active DirectoryProven expertise in IT network applications, including Citrix, LAN/Wide, and networkingStrong organisational and administrative abilitiesDemonstrated excellence in customer serviceCapability to undertake travel to various sites as neededActively contributes to the continuous quality improvement of the organisationAlignment to our ValuesOnly candidates with permanent working rights in Perth will be consideredConditions of Employment National Police ClearanceValid Driver's Licence (Car)Willingness to undergo a Pre Employment MedicalRequires frequent travel to sitesAbout Us: BaptistCare supports thousands of people across 90 locations in NSW, WA and the ACT.
