The Role: We seek an enthusiastic and proactive IT Support Associate to join our supportive and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in IT, with hands-on experience across various tasks. You'll work closely with our experienced IT professionals, learning the ropes and contributing to meaningful projects. What You'll Do: Provide Friendly IT Support: Be the first point of contact for staff, offering patient and clear support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with the IT Team: Work closely with experienced team members to escalate complex issues and learn from their expertise.
Assist with Setup & Maintenance: Help set up computers, printers, and peripherals while ensuring they're running smoothly for our staff.
Support Software Updates: Assist with installing, configuring, and updating software applications across the company.
Hands-On Network Assistance: Provide hands-on support for basic network maintenance tasks, such as cabling, setting up routers, and troubleshooting switches.
Learn System Administration: Perform system administration tasks with guidance, gaining valuable experience as you grow.
Collaborate Across Departments: Work with different teams to understand their IT needs and ensure they have the tools to succeed.
Create Helpful Documentation: Contribute to user guides and documentation to make things easier for everyone.
Stay Hands-On: Be willing to roll up your sleeves for various tasks, such as setting up hardware or helping keep the office organised.

Skills We Love: Basic IT Knowledge: Familiarity with computer hardware and software is a great starting point, but your willingness to learn is even more critical.
Strong Communication Skills: You enjoy working with people and can clearly, patiently, and supportively explain technical issues.
Problem-Solver with a Calm Approach: You're comfortable troubleshooting IT issues and remain professional and calm under pressure.
Quick Learner: Eager to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are happy to help wherever needed, whether a technical issue or a general office task.
Independence & Initiative: You can work independently while following guidance and instructions.

Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Windows and macOS.
Experience with IT ticketing systems or help desk software.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.
Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
