Your New Role
We have an opening for an experienced professional (3-5 years' experience) to focus on IT support.
You will help provide software, hardware and telecommunications support while gaining experience in the operations of a leading boutique funds management firm.
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing existing IT service standards to ensure consistency of quality services to the firm.
The role will also be involved in a wide range of IT initiatives including the following key responsibilities:
Provide and maintain IT support services, logging incidents and service requestsProactively work with team members to triage IT incidents and service requests and prioritise responsesManage ITSM and IAM platformsPerform user administration duties, assist with training and supportOnboarding/Offboarding of employees, ensuring a smooth transition experienceManage assets through the full life cycle and initiate replacements as per scheduleKeep documentation of IT infrastructure up to date and accurateActs as a technical liaison with other IT partners for systems support and implementationAssist in managing cyber security program and cyber incident responseAssist in corporate and regulatory audits; testing of business continuity plan (BCP) and technological changes throughout the business.About You: You will be a smart, motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
You will hold a relevant IT degree qualification.
Your background will have at least 3-5 years' experience in service desk role(s) and will include:
Highly developed technical and problem-solving skillsSystems and applications used and supported: In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows family of Operating SystemsActive DirectoryMicrosoft ExchangeSAN Storage and infrastructureVMware vSphereIndustry Certifications e.g.
