Due to sustainable growth, we are now recruiting for an IT Support Analyst to join our award-winning Sime Darby Industrial branch in Cairns, QLD in a permanent fulltime position.
Reporting to the Desktop Support Team Lead, the IT Support Analyst's primary responsibility will be to provide quality IT Desktop support services on a daily basis for all Sime Darby Industrial users in conjunction with other IT functions which include providing Application support, Ticket Management and administration activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, escalating to higher-level support when necessary.Maintain and support desktop, laptop, printers, and mobile devices, ensuring smooth operations for all end-users.Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.Assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.Provide remote and on-site technical assistance and training to end-users as required.Document processes, issues, and solutions clearly and accurately for future reference.Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to implement new technologies and system improvements.Why Sime Darby? Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.End-user hardware including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, Printers, meeting rooms, configuration, set-up and troubleshooting experience.Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, Autopilot.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and supportive assistance to non-technical users.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Australian working rights and a valid driver's license.Sime Darby Berhad is a partner of choice for the world's best brands in the Industrial and Motors sectors.
