The incumbent will be working with a great team of professionals and on interesting projects to build enterprise level infrastructures. Main Responsibilities:· Strategic technology planning based on the company vision.· Engage with business, gather requirements, and provide secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.· Develop and test BC/DR plans meeting RTO/RPO targets. (disaster recovery)· Drive IT infrastructure modernization initiatives through all phases.· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems.· Responsible for Tier 3 escalation from help desk and users.· Create and update systems documentation, performance reports and evaluations.· Design and implement all infrastructure resources (server, storage, packaged applications).· Advocate for technical excellence and champion improvements· Deploy global IT solutions.· Respond to service incidents and fulfill service requests within defined SLAs.·Create/Maintain/Socializedocumentation, procedures, and comprehensive asset management.·Create/Maintain/Socializeautomation and orchestration technologies.· Continuously monitor the infrastructure and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.· Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in infrastructure engineering and make recommendations for improvements.· Complete administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.Requirements:· High degree of collaboration and respect with all team members.· Strong organizational skills such as time management, task prioritization, and delegation.· Effective data-gathering, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.· Proficient customer service skills.· Competence in deploying diverse enterprise applications.· Experience defining processes and supporting their implementation.Must have technical skills:· 5+ years of relevant experience in design, build and operation of Data Center technologies such as Servers, Storage, Backup/Recovery and Active Directory.· Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, vCenter, vSphere, VMWare Horizon and Hyper-V)· Windows Server 2016 and 2019· Cloud Solutions (AWS and Azure)· Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and GPO.· Microsoft Entra ID· Storage: Pure Storage and NetApp SAN (iSCSI)· Experience administering, configuring and troubleshooting Veeam backup software.· Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python or Ansible· Windows Clustering and load balancing· MS PKI· Microsoft 365· MS DFSN/DFSR· Network fundamentals and TCP/IP protocol stack· DNS and DHCPEducation and Experience:· 5+ years of work experience in a system and infrastructure engineering role· bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent· Professional and related certificatesCome Be Part Of A Mission that Matters!From inside the farm gate to our dinner plates, Neogen protects the world's food supply.
