Special repair tools and workshop equipment Diagnostic software and hardware Training and authoring Services & consultancy Job Description We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated IT Solution Engineer & Systems Administrator to join our BASS team. This is a permanent, full-time role and is based at our headquarters in Clayton, although flexible working is available.
Position responsibilities will include: Design technology solutions across multiple different customers. Solutions typically incorporate reusable hardware and software components that are integrated together, including to customers' backend systems. Actively support New Business Acquisition of Bosch (AA-AS) technology products and services with sales teams, by closely working with customers to understand existing pain points, objectives, and then map the relationships between IT Platforms/Infrastructure/Software and Hardware solutions in order to present efficient and effective solutions. Act as a "Hands-on" System Administrator to configure and customise the company's customer-oriented IT solutions, ensuring relevant IT policies are maintained. Qualifications The successful applicant will be a result-oriented expert - part IT infrastructure guru, part technical architect for hardware and software solutions. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, be a team player, and have excellent organisational and communication skills.
You should be able to demonstrate the following:
Degree in relevant IT discipline (Information Systems or Computer Science) Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Project Management Systems, IT Hardware/Software, SaaS Extensive network hardware and software knowledge (routers, adapters, network drivers) Experience with Salesforce is desirable Significant experience in a commercial and technical IT environment Automotive IT Diagnostics Hardware/Software experience is desirable Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills Possess commercial acumen and have the ability to translate technical information to easy-to-understand business concepts Additional Information Bosch Automotive Service Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeks to attract and retain the highest calibre of employees.
