About this role We have an opportunity to expand our customer facing IT Service Desk team in Sydney, working from our head office in Macquarie Park. You will help manage and support our clients' key infrastructure environments across traditional on-premises or cloud platforms. You will support our clients' end users with client devices and application support including Windows OS & Microsoft 365 applications. You'll have a customer focused attitude and will want to deliver consistently positive interactions with our clients. Complete ongoing and regular maintenance, such as patching and updates for customer desktop and infrastructure platforms. Monitoring infrastructure and networks, troubleshooting and reporting on systems and platforms as required. Build subject matter expertise and capability around our key vendor partner solutions. Be responsible for providing technical support and incident management across technology areas and platforms. Required skills & experience 2+ years' experience in an IT service management or service desk role. Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution for desktop, networking & server technologies. Have a demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of the following technologies: MS Windows desktop operating systems MS Office 365 MS OneDrive & SharePoint MDM Solutions such as MS Intune, MobileIron or Jamf Back-up & replication technologies such as Veeam Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or MS Azure Knowledge of Service Desk software logging system (Service Now, Remedy, ConnectWise). Have clear, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Always ethical, honest and transparent in all your interactions. Have a collaborative and open-minded temperament, willing to learn and acquire new skills. Key Responsibilities To provide first level customer support and IT troubleshooting to our customers. Monitor and maintain OlympusTech and Customer infrastructure, datacentre and hybrid cloud technologies. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers across Windows Server environment and underlying infrastructure platform. Place in the Business You will work with multiple customers across various technical environments, in the process enhancing your know-how and develop new skills in networking and server management.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role is part of the OlympusTech Customer Service Team. You will work with other experienced and skilled technical team members to successfully deliver projects for our clients. The Technical Solutions Manager will work closely with you to ensure that you have the training and support to properly support our customers across the relevant technologies. Other Details Additional training and certification opportunities as part of the role. Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) work and flexible hours are standard practice. After hours and weekend work may be required. All leave and entitlements as per statutory Australian laws. As we work with government agencies and aged care providers, if successful you will need to undergo a National Criminal History check and provide proof of recent Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
