This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the service desk enquiries and support requests.
The role involves, but is not limited to:
Monitor and maintain service desk and network to ensure availability for all users based on business requirementsUnderstanding of hardware, software, network, and operating systemsSupport the Office 365 Tenant, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and WorkflowsManage IT equipment and network software in line with RAS policiesManage roll out of IT hardware and maintain their performanceAssist in delivering IT strategic outcomesDevise project management plans on new technology rolloutsStay up to date with current and emerging technologies in the IT industrySupport off site users using TeamViewerMaintain end user asset registerAbout you: You will be someone who:
Has a minimum 2 years' experience in information technologyMicrosoft 365 and Office 365 certification, preferredHas a passion for technology and is eager to develop their IT skillsA quick learner with energy, enthusiasm and attention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools including Teams, Word, Excel and OutlookThorough knowledge of up-to-date Windows operating systemUse of Service Desk tool such as JIRAHave a customer service focus, highly motivated, highly adaptable and a problem solverExcellent communicator both verbally and in writingAbout us: The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) organises events, and competitions, acts as a guardian for the state's agricultural heritage, celebrates Australia's achievements in agriculture and works to promote the viability of rural communities by ensuring that Australia remains a thriving and innovative agricultural producer.
We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
