About the opportunity:  As part of our IT Service Team, you will utilise your technical expertise to assist in achieving the goals of the company.
Our IT Service Team are focused on enabling our 5,500 team members with technology solutions to assist in achieving the aspirational goals of the company.
You will provide technical support across: stores, Brave Logistics distribution centre, warehouses, Drakes Meat Centre, and head offices for both 'business as usual' and to support new initiatives and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities: Providing 2nd / 3rd level support for a wide range of systems, including desktop, store hardware & software, infrastructure and enterprise applications.
Participate in Infrastructure related projects including WiFi, WAN, Firewalls and Server administration.
Managing incidents and service requests, including detailed diagnostic investigation, escalating as required to specialist teams and/or vendors Identification and Review of recurring issues, proposing short-term solutions and providing input for resolution.
Leading service quality through technical competence and attention-to-detail Documentation and approval of the IT Knowledge base and participation in IT process enhancement.
Providing after-hours on-call support on rotation Coaching & mentoring of Service Technicians Assist Service Delivery Manager in day-to-day team operations including rostering Skills and experience required for the role: Required: 2 years experience in a Retail environment Proficiency with Active Directory, Exchange, EntraID and Microsoft365 Demonstrated experience with Windows and Linux operating systems Practical knowledge and experience with Network protocols, WiFi, switch and port configuration Understanding and use of SQL Customer service focused attitude and approach Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of prioritisation, organisational and time management skills Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related area Desired: Understanding of Drakes or Retail business, processes and systems Experience with GAP EMC software, FreshService Experience with Fortinet hardware and software Familiarity with ITIL (Service Desk) practices Other relevant industry certifications in IT or Retail If this sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you!  To apply, please click on the button below and attach your resume and cover letter that has you stand out as the candidate we must meet.  Due to the volume of applications expected, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
