It Security Consultant (Nv1 Or Better) (Remote)

IT Security Consultant (NV1 or better) (Remote) Preferable Location(s):Canberra, Australia | Edinburgh, Australia Work Type:Contract
a) Crafting and revising the Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP), System Security Plan (SSP), Incident Response Plan (IRP), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), and additional necessary documents for the security accreditation of sophisticated ICT systems. 
b) Establishing the application of security policies, practices, and standards that oversee the security operations in complex ICT solutions. 
c) Utilizing information security experts and technology to ensure a secure infrastructure, safeguard applications, and uphold data security. 
d) Collaborating with internal departments within Defence to gather, analyze, and finalize security specifications for ICT solutions, including compliance with ASD Essential Eight and PSPF. 
e) Working with the ICT Security Branch (ICTSB) to perform vulnerability assessments on ICT solutions. 
f) Assisting technical teams in creating and documenting gap and risk analyses concerning the architecture and integration of ICT solutions within the Defence framework. 
g) Aiding the Solution Architect in formulating the Solution Architecture Definition (SAD) and High-Level Design (HLD) to satisfy environment integration requirements.
h) Assisting the Systems Engineer in the creation and revision of the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP), and Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
i) Helping the Business/Systems Analyst in preparing and documenting the ICT FPS and Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) for the integration of solutions into the Defence setting.
