About the Opportunity The IT Risk and Security Officer is a key role within the Summerland Bank Information Security function, safeguarding technology infrastructure, optimising our cyber security posture and protecting sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyberattack.
It is a diverse role requiring a strong and in-depth knowledge of IT systems, including ISMS implementation and maintenance, third party delivered applications (SaaS) and cloud infrastructure, training and upskilling staff in cyber security awareness and an understanding of working in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities Maintaining and enhancing the information security framework and assuring that Summerland can meet its strategic goals securely and meets its compliance obligations.Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our corporate and customer information.Develop and maintain a robust information security management system (ISMS).Ensure compliance with relevant prudential standards (CPS234) and preferred info sec standards (PCIDSS, ISO27001).The holistic integration of cyber security framework, internally and with third party partners to meet our security expectations and minimise risks.The IT Risk and Security Officer is an energetic individual who is committed to driving forward Summerland's cyber security maturity. You possess a can-do attitude combined with well-rounded IT experience, preferably in mid-size organisations where the ability to multi-task and "get your hands dirty" is essential.
