Deliver high-level IT Project Support for our client operating in the financial industry. Our client is a leading provider of financial solutions, operating across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Serving a diverse customer base, including corporate, government, and small businesses, our client is currently undergoing a transformation and expansion project to increase their customer base and market share within the industry.
Located in Pymble, this is a great opportunity for someone passionate about Project Support that is looking for animmediate start. The initial contract is for a 2-month duration with prospects for permanency.
About the Role
As an IT Project Support Officer, you'll provide high-level IT and administrative support, coordinate project logistics, and facilitate staff training sessions. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless event execution and smooth operations across various team initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Timesheet Management : Coordinate and manage timesheet submissions for staff. Project Codes : Facilitate the process for creating and assigning project codes. Training Coordination : Organize and book training sessions for employees. Event Pack Preparation : Develop event materials (e.g., presentations) and coordinate online resources. Booking and Scheduling : Arrange event dates, speaker availability, and session details. Participant Communication : Send invitations, confirm attendance, and provide event details. Logistics : Manage catering, transportation, and any equipment needs. Room and Tech Setup : Arrange spaces and technology for events, ensuring smooth operation. Follow-Up Communication : Send post-event follow-ups and materials as needed. Skills and Experience
Technical Proficiency : Strong skills in MS Office (mandatory), with experience in Confluence and Miro (preferred). Organizational Skills : Proven ability to coordinate projects, manage schedules, and oversee event logistics effectively. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with team members, manage follow-ups, and facilitate training sessions. Attention to Detail : High accuracy in handling timesheets, project codes, and documentation. Adaptability : Flexibility to support various functions, from IT assistance to event and training coordination. Benefits
