The IT Project Officer supports IT software development, transition, and maintenance.
You will collaborate with users, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring smooth technology implementations and assisting in resolving software issues.
The role involves proactive communication, project delivery support, and monitoring of IT systems.Reporting to the Business Technology Manager, this role will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities Provide IT support, analysis, and training to business units.Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and vendors on technology changes.Communicate updates and operational information to stakeholders.Assist in IT project delivery and monitor support requests with vendors.Generate reports and metrics for management.Identify process improvements and opportunities for implementation.Build, support, and maintain relationships with Wurundjeri Elders and staff.Experience, Skills, and Qualities Tertiary qualification or 1+ year experience in technology or technology-related fields.Strong communication and problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to work.Experience working with Aboriginal communities is highly regarded.Intermediate experience with the Microsoft 365 suite and its administration.Experience with Dynamics 365 Field Services is highly regarded.National Police Check required.Why Join Us?Be part of an organisation committed to Aboriginal cultural heritage while contributing to IT support and project delivery in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
