Given a number of upcoming projects in the pipeline, they are looking to bring in an IT Project Manager to help deliver and uplift capability across the business.This is an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract with the opportunity to extend.About the Role:As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of IT initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure that our technology projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Your expertise in project management will be key in selecting and managing IT services providers, implementing CRM solutions, and enhancing the company's cyber security posture.The role will require the successful candidate to wear multiple hats across project delivery, as well as bring in their own process and structure to the delivery environment. Coming from a regulatory company background would be highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Managed Services Provider Selection: Lead the evaluation and selection of an IT managed services provider that meets the company's needs, including vendor negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and implementation.CRM Implementation: Manage the ongoing implementation of a new CRM system, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and alignment with business processes to improve customer relationship management.Cyber Security Initiatives: Develop and execute a cyber security strategy, including risk assessments, security policies, and the implementation of tools and protocols to safeguard company data and infrastructure.Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery. Track progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Vendor Management: Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to define project goals, priorities, and timelines, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in project delivery and technology management, and propose solutions to optimize IT systems and practices.Key Requirements:Proven experience (5+ years) in IT project management, ideally within a small to medium-sized business environment.Strong experience in managing IT managed services provider selection, CRM system implementation, and cyber security projects.Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, CRM platforms, and cyber security principles and tools.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and performance management.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.PMP, Prince2, or other project management certifications.Experience with popular CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics).Knowledge of cyber security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).Familiarity with the Australian IT landscape and regulatory requirements.This is an on-site role with an expectation of 5 days/week in the office, with flexibility provided on a case-by-case basis.
