My client is one of the most comprehensive service providers in the state, providing the full spectrum from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care and subacute/rehabilitation.
Your new role
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the technical delivery of ICT projects for SWARH and member Health Services to ensure the required products are implemented and benefits are realised. The position will work closely with the key Infrastructure and Capital works staff across SWARH Alliance Health Services to define, scope, cost, quality, schedules, risk and benefits, aligned to the objectives of the project Business Cases. Facilitate effective collaboration with vendors and business stakeholders to deliver ICT enabled projects that align with SWARH and member strategies and are delivered on time and within budget and to agreed quality measures and standardsResponsibilities:Project Management following SWARH project management framework and governance processes to plan, document, communicate, execute and evaluate the projectEnsure ICT component of business cases are aligned with the Information Services Strategy, ensuring any new initiatives leverage existing ICT investmentsManaging inter-project dependencies, resource demands and project prioritiesCoordinate project team members, business SME's, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver tasks, activities, outputs and outcomes in a timely manner in accordance with project plansCoordinate testing of systems with clinical and technical usersManage risk and issue escalation and resolutionProvide relevant input to support the demand management processWhat you'll need to succeed
• Management or Project Management qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile / Scrum certificates)• ITIL Foundation or above• Qualifications in Business Analysis tools and methodology or similar E• Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems proactively identifying improvement opportunities to add value to business operations.• Project Management experience particularly implementing ICT network infrastructure from design to handover• Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with all levels of stakeholders• Proven ability to write business cases, gather requirements and document processes.• Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and team members to design and deliver optimal solutions.• Knowledge or experience in structured project management methodologies (eg. PRINCE2, PMBOK, AGILE, LEAN, etc.).DESIRABLE:• Experience working with clinical staff in a healthcare facility.• Experience working on Capital infrastructure programs and ICT building fit outs• Experience using clinical and administrative information systems.
