ABOUT THE ROLE: Jacana Energy's Information and Communication Technology Strategic roadmap aims to align technology to organisational requirements and support the growth of new projects and services.
This role will leverage existing relationships with delivery partners to migrate technologies to cloud and deliver network requirements that are scalable and support evolving business requirements.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide end to end Project Management of IT systems, including developing business cases, planning, costings, resource management, tracking and reporting of costs, progress, issues, and risks in line with Jacana Energy's Project Management methodology.
Manage the sourcing of technical solutions in line with procurement procedures, including preparation of documentation, managing the selection process, market, cost analysis and recommendations.
Manage multiple IT vendors to design, document and deliver network and system projects by facilitating vendor workshops and leading multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical support and advice to ensure that systems are fit for purpose, scalable and achieve the businesses objectives.
Accountable for the planning and coordination of system integration and user acceptance testing, including issue defect management and reporting.
Comply with the Northern Territory Public Sector and Jacana Energy codes of conduct, policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Demonstrated experience managing IT projects including business case development, planning, delivery to finalisation.
Sound experience and knowledge in migrating services from in-house, on-premise solutions to cloud-based or "as a Service" solutions.
Proven excellence in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven high level adaptability, flexibility, and resilience, with a demonstrated ability to handle pressure and manage change effectively.

You may also have: Demonstrated advance technical writing skills for work instructions, policy and procedures, functional requirements, and workflow diagrams.
Demonstrated experience with the use of PM methodologies, such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or similar.
Relevant experience in a regulated utility or commercial environment, or Government owned Corporation.
