We are looking for an experienced IT Product Quoting Specialist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis in our Melbourne office.
Your RoleWe're looking for a Product Quoting Specialist to support the overall sales function and develop sales opportunities either directly with clients or working with sales teams.
You will be focussed on researching products and solutions, defining pricing and preparing detailed and accurate quotes.
You will bring a passion for customer service excellence and an ability to work with internal and client stakeholders.
Your ResponsibilitiesEngage with clients during the purchasing process, offering tailored advice for their business needs.Scope, quote and compile proposals for hardware and software products and services, in line with margin targets.Liaise with established vendors and partners to obtain the best pricing and maintain positive relationships.Organise deal registrations/bid management.Provide clients and internal stakeholders with regular updates about stock levels and order arrivals.Work closely with the pre-sales and procurement teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment.Stay updated on the latest IT trends, products, and industry developments to effectively communicate product feature benefits and alignment to requirements.Liaise with vendors to identify and offer specials and promotions.Continuously seek to identify and drive process improvements to improve efficiency, customer experience, and financial performance.Your Experience & Personal AttributesMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar IT quoting/ sales support role.Essential experience working for an MSP, IT distributor or similar business.Technically savvy with a broad knowledge across a range of IT infrastructure.Strong work ethic, attention to detail, commercial acumen and be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.Have a positive attitude and strong passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes.Ability to liaise with people at all levels of an organisation and maintain effective relationships.Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.Enjoys working in a team environment.Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, organise and meet deadlines.Your Benefits & PerksWe value our staff and offer competitive salaries and plenty of employee-focussed benefits.
