Compare the Market is looking for an enthusiastic IT Operations Engineer to join our dedicated team.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our users, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
With a strong focus on providing excellent customer service, your role will be essential in assisting our users, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the efficiency of our IT services.
As an IT Operations Engineer, you'll play a vital part in our IT support team, helping our organisation run smoothly and effectively.
What You'll Do: Provide first-level technical support to users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems and applications.
Document and track all support requests and incidents in the IT service management system.
Adhere to standard operating procedures for incident management, problem resolution, and service requests.
Escalate complex issues to other support teams when necessary.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Support the IT team with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Onboard new systems and document best practices for implementation within the team.
What You'll Bring: Previous relevant experience, especially in IT or operations with a focus on constructing and optimising internal processes is highly desirable.
Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements, boosting operational efficiency.
Strong communication skills for interacting with end users and writing clear documentation.
