About the roleOfficeworks is seeking a proactive IT Manager, for a 12 Month leave cover contract, to drive innovation and partner with our People and Safety teams, ensuring our technology delivers seamless, efficient, and compliant support.
As IT Manager - TX People, you'll be the key contact for all relevant technology matters, driving alignment with business goals and overseeing a dynamic team responsible for our core People applications including SuccessFactors and Kronos. You'll lead the development, deployment, and support of people-focused applications, ensuring security and compliance standards, and championing a people-first approach to IT. This role is based out of our Chadstone Support Office in Victoria 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team, promoting a fair, engaging, and growth-focused environment.Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the People team and other departments to support strategic and operational objectives through technology.Innovation and Development: Maintain and evolve a roadmap for people applications, introducing solutions that support Officeworks' strategic goals.Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with IT suppliers and consultants, ensuring efficient partnerships.Financial Management: Manage budgets and cost centres, driving cost efficiency across projects.Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to security, legislative, and quality standards in all people systems.Technical Leadership: Stay ahead of retail software trends and lead disaster recovery and continuity planning.About youExperience leading IT teams within large, complex organizations.
Strong demonstrated understanding of people-focused applications, in particular SuccessFactors and Kronos.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive cost efficiencies.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Strategic mindset with the capability to align IT solutions with broader business objectives.
