Job Description IT Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's business goals, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to foster growth and performance.Advise senior leadership on technology decisions, opportunities, and investments.
Systems & Infrastructure Management:Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring they are reliable and scalable.Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software, from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring that systems remain up-to-date and perform optimally.Ensure continuous availability and performance of IT systems, minimizing downtime and disruptions to business operations.
Cybersecurity & Data Management:Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive company and customer data.Establish and maintain disaster recovery and data backup processes to safeguard business-critical information.Regularly assess cybersecurity risks, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Business Process Improvement:Assess current technology and processes, identifying areas for improvement or automation to enhance operational efficiency.Collaborate with key departments to understand technology needs and ensure IT solutions meet operational requirements.Support the integration of technology to improve customer service, product development, and operational workflows.
Project Management:Plan and lead IT-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution.Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, while keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
Vendor Management:Manage relationships with external IT vendors, ensuring that contracts are aligned with company needs and delivering value.Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality service and cost-effective solutions.Evaluate and recommend new IT vendors, products, and services as required.
Compliance & Reporting:Ensure IT systems and practices comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.Regularly report on IT performance, budget adherence, and project status to senior management.Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring they are up to date and in line with best practices.The Successful Applicant Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar senior IT role, ideally within a medium-to-large business environment.
Skills & Competencies:Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and business software.Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex IT projects.Experience with selecting and implementing ERP systems, CRM tools, and business process automation.In-depth knowledge of data security practices, IT compliance standards, and disaster recovery protocols.Strong communication and leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a team and influence senior decision-making.Ability to identify and address IT issues proactively and in a timely manner.Proven experience working in a fast-growing business environment, with the ability to adapt and scale IT systems and processes in line with rapid company expansion.
