Job DescriptionAs an IT Manager, you will provide support to a variety of teams—artists, designers, programmers, administrative staff, and more—to keep their workstations, software, and other tools running smoothly. You will play a key role in assessing the studio's infrastructure, anticipating future needs, planning necessary support, and leading our IT Support Technicians team.From the beginning of your journey with us, you will:Manage the local IT team by coaching team members, setting clear job expectations, evaluating their performance, and helping them plan and set goals.Provide first-line technical support for users, helping with hardware, software, and network issues.Manage hardware and software inventories, ensure IT resources are secure and compliant, and provide reports as needed.Act as the initial point of contact for security alerts from EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) or other security investigations.Work closely with the HQ IT Manager, Global Infrastructure, and Infosec teams at Gameloft to enhance standardization, operational efficiency, and security across the company.Manage the installation and licensing of software packages.Use monitoring tools like Zabbix to ensure the infrastructure is healthy and responsive.Work with virtualization platforms to manage resource use and server load.Provide regular reports to the Studio Manager and the HQ IT Manager to ensure alignment with studio and company prioritiesTake a hands-on approach by actively moving equipment in the studio and assisting with shipping.Oversee on-premises services and network operations.Experience with version control, software development toolchains or content creation software is considered favorable.Qualifications5 to 10 years of experience in customer service and IT operations.2 to 5 years of experience in team management.Strong experience with Windows including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with Linux, and macOS platforms.Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.Excellent project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.Solid knowledge of computer and network systems.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.BenefitsComprehensive relocation package for successful candidates.Flexible work model to support work-life balance.Learning and development programs to foster professional growth.Private Health Insurance and fitness subsidies.Relaxation space with massage chair.Employee mental health assistance.Additional leave including birthday, Christmas, and women's health leave.Free coffee, daily snacks, and light breakfast.Social Friday drinks with friendly game tournaments.Spectacular roof-top terrace with river views and a game room.Referral program with generous bonuses.Awesome Gameloft-themed merch.Studio Mascot - Mr. Hendricks, our friendly Dachshund who protects our studio.Additional InformationWe can't wait to find our next great talent!Please submit your CV, cover letter or portfolio (if applicable).Gameloft Brisbane is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity within our work environment.Company DescriptionGameloft Brisbane, part of the global Gameloft family, opened in 2014 and since then has released Zombie Anarchy, Ballistic Baseball, My Little Pony: Mane Merge, and multi-award-winning The Oregon Trail.
